Roads in Utan Panjang will Have Sidewalks

Utan Panjang Urban Village Head, Etik Kusmiati stated, roads that spread in his region should have sidewalks.

In addition to pedestrian safety, sidewalk can also prevent illegal parking on the roadside.

"In the executing meeting, we always ask for a sidewalk, thus there are no vehicles parked carelessly," she expressed, Wednesday (1/10).

She stated, the roads that will be prioritized are Jalan Utan Panjang Timur and Jalan Utan Panjang Barat. Besides no sidewalks, until now, parking ban signs has yet to be installed.

Responding on the matter, Kemayoran Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Guruh uttered his side has proposed a sidewalk development program in Utan Panjang Urban Village in the Development Planning Forum (Musrenbang) this year. So it is expected to be realized in 2019.

"It will be executed next year, as we just proposed it in this year's Musrenbang," he stated.
